hey i just tryed the sippy straw... now my sear will not engage the bolt.... tryed to file the straw but just frayed it...any ideas?

I had the same problem and just shaved it very carefully with a x-acto knife.

What a great thread, very informative. I realize this is an old post, but for those in Canada looking for Rare Earth magnets, they are available at Lee Valley -- both online and "brick and mortar".

I tried the sippy straw mod and the trigger wouldn't trip the sear...it worked for a while but then just stopped working all together. Removed the straws and problem solved. Don't know why it did that.
