A5 Response Trigger Help

Ok, I need help from anyone that has a response trigger for their a5. I installed everything and shot my gun and it was full auto fine for a while. Then I put it away and tried to shoot it again later to show my friend, but I shot and the exterior flow adapter fell out. I tried to put it in but it is just too loose and falls out. I am talking about the brass part that connects the outside cyclone feed, to the inner piece. Not the little screw part that adjusts bps. So any help will be appreciated.

Re: A5 Response Trigger Help

Bump....I need help. I was wondering if I could put it in and try some loctite on there? But if it doesnt work and the loctite is dried it would be stuck, so I need to be sure. It seems that the piece wont screw far enough into the inner flow adjustment valve.

Re: A5 Response Trigger Help

Are you talking about the banjo fitting? A photo would be helpful in diagnosing this.

Re: A5 Response Trigger Help

sounds like you stripped threads during initial installation (if so try to call Tippmann for free replacement)

Re: A5 Response Trigger Help

I agree, pictures are needed, so we can see what your exact problem is.

I think you either striped your threads, or if your outside brass piece isn't flush with the bottom of the nut's notch, than you didn't drill out your A-5's screw hole.

Re: A5 Response Trigger Help

it is not stripped. And what do you mean by not drilling out the a5 screw hole. It is not the banjo fitting. if you hold up the right half of the gun(the cyclone feed side) and you look near the back, there is a little brass piece that has a hole going down the center. I cannot put that in hard enought to stay.

This is what it's supposed to look like. Does yours look like this?

Re: A5 Response Trigger Help

ok, so I fixed it. I figured out that the original hole wasnt big enough, so I made it bigger and now it fits in. Thanks for the help guys, especially KRA, is there a ranking on the forum that I can give you ups on or something?

Re: A5 Response Trigger Help

I'm having the same problem. The exterior flow control fitting won't sit flush with the nut hole. The solution is to....drill the nut hole out? The manual doesn't mention anything about having to drill it out...

If you call Tippmann, they will tell you to drill it out. I know because I called them.
