Re: Guess whats in the Works for November

My Tippmann rep gave me one to tryout at the TWC as well this weekend. It is the same board that is in the X7 currently. The full auto is a 3shot activation. I didn't get to use it enough to see about the battery life, which is my big issue with the newer e-grips. But battery change is nice with the door on the back of the grip, and the integrated grip adapter for mounting the ASA is nice.

Can the ASA grip adapter be removed?

Re: Guess whats in the Works for November

Yes, just pull the screw at the bottom of the grip and it comes off.

Re: Guess whats in the Works for November

So something like, say, a gripshelf built for a current A-5 grip would still work on this e-grip?

I hope they plan on selling the grip without the board so I can put an APE board in there. Oh well, there goes another $180 or so...

Yeah... as soon as it comes out me and my friend are going to search for a good package of the new grip with a X7 Ape board in it... if one of us finds it we will post the link here! Hope if someone finds one they will do the same!
Anything to help out other Og's!

Re: Guess whats in the Works for November

Bah! Now I'm angry! I just got my APE board to replace the WAS in my E-grip... then today Silent messaged me about this... Grr...

I really can't Justify buying a whole new Egrip and a whole New APE board just to have select fire and a battery door...

Even though the only person I'd have to justify it to is myself. I still can't see it happening.
