Re: E-Grip: Debounce...Dwell...WHA?!

I could get my APE Egrip to bounce real easy. I had installed a APE Pro trigger and I did not reset dwell/debounce. I had a hard time getting the marker to fire not realizing that the aluminum trigger will take a little more pop to move the sear than the plastic. Had to up the dwell a little to help. Then when it would fire, it went full auto. The "kick" was making it bounce. I had to up my debounce by 4 ms to stop the "bounce". I was a little disappointed at first in my new trigger but once Jim at APE helped me get everything set, she really ROCKS! Price is a little steep but feel/quality is excellent. Thanks Jim.

Re: E-Grip: Debounce...Dwell...WHA?!

Speaking of egrips does anybody offer an X7 egrip frame with an APE already installed?

A friend is looking to go egrip and I'd like to point him to APE as APE seems to have a very good history with it's boards on Tippmanns.

Re: E-Grip: Debounce...Dwell...WHA?!

So if you set the grip for full auto and turned the debounce low enough, you'd get full auto on the first trigger pull instead of the third (on a WAS board)?

I would just try this instead of asking, but my marker's 800 miles away.

can that work with the response lol

Re: E-Grip: Debounce...Dwell...WHA?!

you know...this info might make a good addition to the FAQ's about E-grips...

might be a good idea to re-write and sticky
