Re: Hairpin trigger kit?

Welcome to the forums!

I'm sure someone more knowledgeable than I will come along and clear this up for you.

However, here is my .02:
I doubt it's one of those "must have" upgrades. IMO I think at the least it would be an interesting thing to play around with. I just made my own magnetic trigger (there is a How To sticky around the forums some where if you are interested) and I like the way it feels so far. But between aftermarket spring kits and DIY mods all over this forum, the hairpin kit isn't your only option on reducing your trigger pull.

Re: Hairpin trigger kit?

They cause problems (ignore my posts on other threads haha). rapid fire, etc. Not a fan here. Apparently other peopel have gotten them to work, but they are not worth the money in any way.

Re: Hairpin trigger kit?

I have the kit sir. You do have to do some custom work when you install though. (You just have to sand down a piece of plastic). However. The BIGGEST bolt piece does not work for me..Im using #3... (There are 4 bolts, the 4th is the biggest one, the bigger the bolt, the less trigger pull you need)

Re: Hairpin trigger kit?

From everything I've read and heard, I'm not wasting my money. I got the squishy paddles, but thats the only mod I got from them.

Re: Hairpin trigger kit?

I tried the kit out and no matter which combination I used, the marker kept slipping into full auto (basically a runaway trigger). In addition I noticed that it would add a great deal of wear to the sear.

However, on the bright side, I did return the product to TechT and had my first experience with their stellar customer service that I've heard some much about. Product didn't work for me, but TechT gained a fan simply due to their customer relations.

Re: Hairpin trigger kit?

We have used the Trigger Hair Pin Kit and they did work well on our guns. It's really a tweaking part once you get a lot of your other primary upgrades out of the way. It won't change your game, but it'll help cater your trigger pull to your exact preferences.

We have all theTippmann TechT Paintball Mods on the site.
