i just got an rt trigger and it is the new one it has all 1/8 hose. however when installing it i stripped the fitting that goes through the grip and connects to the flow control. my questions is where can i get a new one. man i cant believe i did this

I would contact Tippmann and explain to them what happened. You probably won't get a replacement for free. As it was user error that broke it. At least they can tell you the cost to replace it.

i checked them and they did not have the part i needed. most of what they have is for the old rt system.

What part did you strip? Is there no way to chase the threads with a tap/dye?

this is a common problem with the new ones, call them and they will ask your address and ship it, you will have it in under a week. I prefer the old style myself, i think the new ones are cheaper. i sold it before even using it for a game

it was the fitting that goes from the adjuster to the 90 inside the reciever

yup, its like a cheap brass or copper fitting, 1 turn over tightening it will break it, believe me i know

Well No. 1 don't beat yourself up verbally. That's just gonna cause all mannor of hades for you in the long run in life. Stuff happens.

No. 2 ask your local paintball shop in the future that has a Tech if they have a used part you need. If he does and it's useable, he'll either sell it or give it to you.

I have learned that you'd be surprised what parts Techs will just give you off of older trade in markers. They just cannibalize them for people looking for a fully upgraded marker but don't mind one used.

My local paintball shop cannibalizes everything they can for custom built markers. The place is like AMARC at Davis-Monthon Air Force Base. Waste not want not.
