Re: Trigger Options

dbl. trigger- Yes. One a stock 98C I could walk the trigger.
as far as the extra cash for JCS etc. Try a stock one first. I have one with the e-grip. I basically use semi. or responce- 1 shot pull/1 shot release. Depending on how much paint I have. Used full auto only in the yard w/ the kids. I would try the stock trigger with some of th etrigger mods first then step up if it suits you. I like the short, easy pull of the e-grip and the modes.

Technically it was on them. They held the marker!

Re: Trigger Options

how does the E-grip with WAS board and JCS trigger compare up to the Ion on ramp ? i shot my friends ion today and it was very smooth, the light trigger and short pull was so comfy, haha. anyone have any experience with it?

Re: Trigger Options

They ion on cheat will shoot faster. The trigger pull is dependant on how you set the marker up, and how much time you put it to tweaking it.

Re: Trigger Options

but as far as trigger feel and sensitivity, the e-grip/was/JCS will be able to stand up to the ion with enough tinkering?

Re: Trigger Options

How do you go about making the stock A-5's trigger pull lighter, where do you put the trigger stops and what springs do you replace.

Re: Trigger Options

You only want to replace the trigger spring, not the sear spring. If you replace the sear spring, you will screw up your marker. A trigger stop is usually done in the form of a q-tip cut to length and then put in the trigger spring. When you pull the trigger, it will hit the q-tip and stop the pull. You can adjust this so it stops the pull just when you fire giving you a shorter trigger pull. I'd however use something more durable than a q-tip.

Another mod you can do is to put some duct tape or some kind of shim on the top of your trigger to help push it forward more. This also helps shorten the trigger pull.

If you would like, I can get pics.
