Exclamation Response trigger inconsistentcy

My response trigger is installed properly and has no leaks. When i dry fire (using CO2) with my RT, it works properly and the sweet spot is relatively easy to find. But, when i shoot balls, it doesn't seem to work. Have any of you experienced this? If so, do you have a solution?

I have. r/t requires steady finger and nerves of steel. When you play you are under stress (at least I'm a little) you simply choke the trigger/apply to much or unsteady pressure on the trigger.

well that depends on the person.i have used/practiced enough with mine that its just natural. everyone keeps mentioning the pen spring mods but it didnt seem to help me any but i also prefer a stiffer trigger pull.

Re: Response trigger inconsistentcy

I had that problem before. It wasn't really my R/T but the cyclone. Amazingly it was the soft paddles I had just put it and they had warped from the cold. I just put in my stock paddles and it fired fine after that. Try checked to see if your cyclone rotates while dry firing and then try it with under a load, like fill the cyclone with balls. Not sure if this will help too but also check the bottom plates screws. They may be too tight as well. Don't know if that will help you but thats what happened to me.

Re: Response trigger inconsistentcy

A qeph seems to help the r/t work better. (vented piston housing for cyclone) Helped on my sons 98c. can find the sweet spot faster, and sustained fire. about 30 bucks and everybody makes them now.
