| Re: Response Trigger allowed? The field I play at in Northern Indiana allows you to use anything. Over- shooting is the responsibility of the shooter. If you can't control your trigger finger you don't play. Come to think of it , they always talk about no over-shooting, but they never really say how many hits is considered over-shooting. I keep it to 3 hits and below. I don't mind getting over-shot if it's an accident, but when it's done just to be a jerk that's when I get mad. When playing on a field that allows high ROF you have to be willing or at least understand that you might get hit more than once. I guess it's up to the individual player to complain. If they get a valid complaint they quickly put a stop to it. We have a no option surrender rule at 7 feet, they enforce no bunkering. Whoever yells surrender first wins. I surrendered a kid last weekend in a game of speedball and he took a step back and put 8! in my chest at point blank. THANK GOD I had my vest on so it didn't hurt. It was his first time playing and he had a new gun so I laughed it off. If I was wearing anything less I fear he might have received the same treatment in return. Instead we shook hands and I told him nice shot. When I lived in Springfield, MO the field I played at seperated you into two skill levels based on your equipment. A-5's were considered level 1 and anything better than an ION was level 2. Level 2 markers could play with level 1 markers if they used semi-auto only and gravity feed hoppers. I played with my e-grip set to semi-auto and had no trouble out-shooting most people on the field. It wasn't much of a challenge but it made for some fun days of shooting noobs. | Re: Response Trigger allowed? The field near me (which is a stretch to be honest cuz it's past a 10 mile drive that's for sure) they allow E-triggers and RTs. fps is capped at 290, and you can byop. The last time the guys went I wasn't able to. One of my best friends said that the speedballers had stacks and stacks of paint being brought in off of trucks vans and SUVs. He said it rained paint all around the speedball coarse. They even have another speedball coarse that they call hyper ball. It actually looks pretty interesting.

I've never had any ref say anything at SC or Jungle Island, and the refs actually handle the marker for calibration at SC. Then again, I don't abuse the r/t capabilities... In fact, my boy's Ion got stuck in FA one day, and one of the refs at SC told him, "just look like you're walking the trigger so nobody complains, otherwise no big deal." |

| Re: Response Trigger allowed? Its allowed at my local field. At least it was last year, I've been playing outlaw and scenarios for the past year so I havent been to my home field in awhile.
