| My weekend with the HE E-Grip, wow!! This past weekend I used my new gear that I got for myself for Rama-Hanna-Kwanz-Mas: HPA Peanut tank, HE E-Grip, and TechT Fang Trigger. I didn't get around to trying the Fang Trigger because I was having too much fun with the HE E-Grip (Egrip). To be fair with who was out on the field already, I set my Egrip to Auto Response (I shot fired for each pull and release). Man, I was pw0ning people left and right. For fun, and to show off, I set it to Full Auto and let 'er rip. What I loved about it was that during the heat of battle I could easily switch from Auto Response to the default of Semi Auto. Sometimes I just needed a few good shots because I also have the flat-line barrel. I WISHED that the flip-switch would go through all 5 modes without having to use a pin, but I was able to grip twigs and stuff off the ground and change modes as I needed. After the rounds, the other players told me that they had to keep down and were kind of terrified when they heard me fire a volley of rounds at them. Without a doubt, I got more people out because of this (set to auto response). Next time, I will set it to Full Auto while playing and see what happens. | Re: My weekend with the HE E-Grip, wow!! opbn has a small point, but doesnt it feel great to have a $150 investment payoff! The feilds i play at ban the use of full-auto in the name of fairness, but i mostly play outlaw with a bunch of X7 and Electro owners. Allmost all of them have Full Auto. It's challenging at times, but my flatline and superior tactics keep me on the winning team most times. And being out gunned as such has made me a better player. Sure, i could complain that it isnt fair, but then the victory at the end of the game wouldnt feel as good. Im really not trying to call opbn out, i just thought you'd like a counterpoint. Congrats on the new Mod Antebios |

Call away, I'm a big boy, I can take it. I wasn't commenting on the mod, (I have 2 e-gripped A5s) but of the attitudes. |

| Re: My weekend with the HE E-Grip, wow!! My original comments obviously were aimed at the OP. I wasn't sure if your comments were sarcastic or not, but seem to be the prevailing mentality at a lot of the fields that I frequent. Personally, I try to get on the opposite team of guys like this and make it my mission for the day to bonus ball them in the noggin or speed bag for most of the day... even if they are on my own team. "OOOH, sorry dude, I didnt see your armband." |

| Re: My weekend with the HE E-Grip, wow!! i hear ya, i ususally try and do the same. the noobs at the field that we play at come with e-gripped markers and just unload on everyone...sometimes including the people that are standing there, shot OUT, with their markers up and barrel condoms on. as a matter of fact i saw a kid a couple of months ago with a brand new x7, egrip and flatline...dude was MAYBE 10 years old just ripping full auto at me, so a quick move and bing flatline shot to the face. i couldn't resist for the fact that his father was there just eggin' him on. but he got the point after that...i got his dad too! cheers. |
