Re: R/T - Clicky Spring Mod Guide

A few small things that i'd like to say...

It doesn't have to be that exact type of pen. Any clicky pen will work. Most pen springs have the same tension so I don't think it really matters.

And you can cut down the spring to fit if it's too large or if you want an even lighter trigger pull. Just make sure it's not too light or your trigger will stop working or something.

Re: R/T - Clicky Spring Mod Guide

Guys go easy with clicky pen upgrade
Did it my self. My A-5 with R/T was working fine at first but after few months sear stopped catching rear bolt (my SEAR and REAR BOLT are NOT STRIPPED btw) at times especially when R/T was used. So I went back to stock sear spring and clicky pen mod only at the front where the trigger is. My friend stumbled upon same problem.

Re: R/T - Clicky Spring Mod Guide

I made the clicky pen mod in both my a5's and wow i can lay the paint, I can hardly even fire a single shot its like pull trigger rope of paint. its awesome.

I used el crappo pen springs too,
just some random cheap no name pens I had laying around the house, they may have been weaker springs than the ones you sugested, they seemed really wimpy to me, but wow its like crazy fast.

Re: R/T - Clicky Spring Mod Guide

Yeah has anyone found a suitable lighter spring at all for the sear spring?

why would you even think about replacing the sear? I don't get it. the Clicky pen mod in the front spring is so easy to hit the sweet spot, and it stays on too, you can unload a whole hopper, without missing the sweet spot, so why change the sear too?

Re: R/T - Clicky Spring Mod Guide

I did this mod on my stock trigger, I replaced both the trigger spring and slider spring and the trigger is definitely lighter when it's not cocked, but once it's cocked it feels the same as the stock springs.

Re: R/T - Clicky Spring Mod Guide

I don't know that it would accomplish much on an e-Grip, but the cost of trying it is pretty trivial.

If, however, you're looking for a nice trigger action, you may be better served by looking at magnetic options such as the triggers put out by Rhythm Innovations.
