Being the person that I am, and the fact that one marker just isn't enough to satisfy my cravings, I decided to pick up a "new" used marker. While it's close to being done, I still have a few more tidbits to add. I picked up this Blazer in a trade, and it had a check up from Palmers prior to being shipped to me.
Here's what it has on it, or for it so far:
12" Dual Ported, Black Powdercoated Brass Barrel (.690 bore)
10" Brass Barrel (.685 bore)
Palmers Apex Adapter
Foregrip
45 grip frame w/ blade trigger
7* asa
quick disconnect on the steel braided end that connects to the reg
In addition to this, a previous owner had milled the dovetail rail. While it looks good like this, they left it with the aluminum showing. So I did a quick patchup paint job on it until I can get it annoed black.
I got the Blazer a few days ago, and was able to play with it yesterday. It shoots exceedingly fast for a mech, and the shots were dead on. I was using Co2 the entire time we played, and literally put ball on top of ball at ranges far beyond what I'm use to.
Unfortunely I don't have a hopper for it yet so I had to borrow a gravity fed one from a buddy...... and the Blazer shoots so fast that the gravity fed one could not keep up with it. The good news is that I have a hopper on the way to me that I ordered.
The Blazer it literally the best marker I've ever shot, or even owned for that matter. It's also tiny and light compared to the A-5. I have no clue what took me so long to get one, but I'm glad I finally did.
Here's a few more pictures of my Blazer with the apex attached. Sorry for the grainy pictures, I took them indoors with my cellphone.
