psiworx proconnect III, new install...will not hold air?

Seriously...I should have stuck to my co2 and slide check...all these upgrades are beginning to wear on me.

So, the issue...brand new Pro-Connect III remote line system bought from Rockstar Tactical. I decided to plunk down for something nice other than a $16 ball valve from a local shop. *sigh*

I pulled it out of the box, plugged it in and aired it up. There is a constant leak out of the female adapter when not attached. Plug it up to the male adapter (attached to the marker, of course), a steady jet of air rushes out of the damn thing.

I tried a bit of marker oil, no change.

Any trick to these things?

Did you tighten it well ? Where is the air coming from ?
From threading?
You can either use teflon tape or non permanent loctite.

Psiworx is apart of the forum here so he may post up with a couple of ideas. You could of just received a bad part that can be swapped out. I would also try an PM him and let him know.

Re: psiworx proconnect III, new install...will not hold air?

I had the same issue with my warlock proconnect 3 out of the box. I Tried tape, and a new O ring. These options did not work. I decided to trash the idea for a proconnect for now after not getting much help from the warlock support.

I bought mine with 3 other friends and all theres worked fine out of the box. This last weekend we all went to go out and play, and everyones proconnect started leaking air as soon as they connected them.

I am thinking the proconnect is a good idea but far from flawless.

No trick. Something is wrong. I e-mailed you right back but haven't gotten a reply. You might want to check your spam filter. Or you can call at 864-457-7384. Or you can Skype me. Skype name is Psiworx.

Re: psiworx proconnect III, new install...will not hold air?

So the entire reason I joined this forum is because I had this same issue with my Psiworx ProConnect. I could hear the air slowly leaking from the female end when not attached to the gun. I attached it to the gun and still had a leak. When I went to detach the proconnect, high pressure air rushed out of the female end of the proconnect until I unscrewed the coil. I took it to the tech and he tightened down all the parts and it seemed to work fine at the store, but when I got home the same problem re-occured. Is it a possible o-ring failure?
