So Tazman asked about it. I just dug this up about an hour ago. Sorry it took so long. Back in the day when we all played woodsball and before speedball ruined the sport, there was a company call KVA. They were the makers of the refillable Paint Grenade, called the Pinapple(which used the washer method that many use now on their nades). They invented the power feed which was called "The moment" and what is pictured now the playmore mine.

Here it is layed out. I have the tube upside down. The white part is the rifill nozzel.

Ready for refill. This is done with a syringe.

This really hasn't functioned since about 1994. I have been meaning to get it working. Now with mill sim on the rise, I might just do that. These were very effective at the flag station.

Cool! So basically this works in the general same way that my grenade mine did. In my other thread I said be on the lookout for a how to of a better one, using PVC, and this is basically what I have it looking like in my head!

So let's take a better at the break down of the playmore mine:

First you have the tubing,clamp and fill valve. The clamp is a medical product. It's used to clamp enema bags.It has ridges that keep it clamped.


Top view:


Inside view:


Rear view. This is where the tubing goes. Comes thru the hole into the clip. Then a cotter pin is passed thru the lower end of the clip to hold the clip in place.If I remember correctly the tubing was zipped tied:


Side view of one way check valve. If anyone knows what this is please let me know. It's either medical or for cake decorating. It's a one way check valve so it will only allow fluid in.

Let's fill it. Since I don't have a syringe,you'll just have to imagine it being filled. It's filled from the bottom with about 6 oz of water and about 6 melted paintballs.


Now close it up. Tie to tree and tie line to front clip. Run your line. Don't pull any cotter pins yet. Once the line is taunght,push down on the clip till it locks in the lowest position. Garefully pull top cotter pin and walk away. The mine is now set:


The paint will squirt out of these two fron holes. They are at a slight angle. This works very well in a building or woods game:


So here you go is you have any questions,please let me know. If you know anywhere to get the clamps and check valve,please let me know. I would like to make a few of these. They are very sinple and can probably be made for under $6.00. As you can see from the pics,they were very crude,but high tech for the time.
