So I was recently Neg repped to the point where I no longer meet the requirements to post in the B/S/T section. I was able to bump my sale thread today.

I'm currently sitting at 28 points. Is this a bug or is the system set up to not strip B/S/T privileges?



If this is currently a bug, please just delete my bump. I'm not trying to ruffle any feathers. Either way, I suggest something be added to the B/S/T regulations with official guidance on the issue.

Like I said earlier, I suggest that whatever decision is made, it should be documented in both the B/S/T guidelines and the Reputations thread.

once you reach a level in the forum code, your given rights, that mods have to REMOVE manually, once your in your in till manually removed

So lets say someone makes a post in the B/S/T section knowing that they should no longer have the right to do so. Is it an exploit of a known bug or is everything working as intended.

I'm sure I'm not the first person to get rep nuked below 50, and I doubt I'll be the last.


My interpretation of that is that once you get access, you are not denied access based on negative rep. While that is my interpretation of that guideline, I do feel that the intent is that if you get bumped below 50 you should not be able to post there.

It would be nice if it was clear on whether this was working as intended or a bannable offense. I'm sure the answer will show up after some of the heavy hitters have a meeting of minds.

With that said, I'll refrain from any further discussion in this thread unless someone has a direct question related to what I have already posted.
