| Re: Cyclone psi The problem is that what works for one person doesn't apply to another. For me, right now, that number is 500psi. For others, it might be 850psi. Still others are 250psi.

I know thats why I wanted to do the poll ![]() I know it's kind of pointless because you can't really see the cause and effect relationship so they are kind of arbitrary numbers, but.... I just find it interesting that using the same platform and achieving the same end (a .68" ball flying at 280 fps) that there is such variation. |

| Re: Cyclone psi Based on tech specs, the stock cyclone would require about 400psi to spin it. With the full vortex mods, it will vary somewhere between 150 - 250 psi. I find it running at lower PSI when the piston/lightning rod is properly lubed and the the axle and ratchet greased with tech-t's gun-sav. Sorry if i got the name wrong on the grease but its the one sold by tech-t. with regular maintenance, it should shoot smoothly but it does vary from marker to marker |

| Re: Cyclone psi Mine starts the "farting" right at about 200 psi (as indicated on my PE 88/4500 guage), as soon as I manually cycle the balls. It will dip down for another pod worth of paint or so, and stopping at right around 125 psi. I have the Techt vortex, the LR, 1/8 airlines, a QEV, (no qeph as of yet) and I am using the wargear Red paddles. Using an APE 2.0 board, and with proper Dwell adjustments, I am shooting up to 28 bps in bursts. With NO problems. |
