and yeah I was getting the same feeling from my o-ring. Wasn't feeling like it was coming all the way back to the default position?

possibility that ring on the rod is catching the vent holes on my QEPH... that was my final theory & TA-DA! smaller holes on thX7 & no problems since. Course I'm not saying the QEPH is crap. More of I suck at instructions & was getting frustrated.

Since you are having the same problem that I am...have you found a way to fix this? Or did you just leave it alone, and everytime you want to manually cycle it your push it harder then usual?

Re: Vortex Mod advice/help

Well, I just give it a firm shove strait in & it works fine. If I don't shove it strait in it might not turn the paddles.

Are you having troubles when you push, or when you release?

When I push the shaft in, the paddles turn, but not a fully. When I release they still don't cycle or "click" into place. Then when I try it again they will barely move because they are halfway between the spot they should be in.

Works fine when I air it up though.

Re: Vortex Mod advice/help

It seems like a pressure problem to me, but if your worried about it just take it apart and inspect everything.

Ok. I'm gonna go mess around with it and see if I can find the problem.

Re: Cyclone Troubles? A Possible Solution:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

One thing that gets over looked a lot is the o-ring that is located inside of the push rod for the feeder. This will cause the cyclone not to feed properly or miss feeding due to a tiny leak. I went all the way through mine and finally replaced the push rod o-ring and that corrected all of my feed problems. Just unscrew the push knob and push the rod out of the shell, it is a very simple problem to fix and is the same o-ring that fits in your remote line where the quick disconnect is. (asually green) or luck
