Hey guys. New to this forum and sort of new to the modding side of thing. Anyways, i'm looking at getting a response trigger and then doing the whole TechT cyclone upgrade. This is probably going to sound stupid but can you hav the R/T and TechT upgrade? Will they work fine together? Anything i should be wary of? All help is very appreciated!

I don't have TechT's Cyclone upgrades, but I have all the same parts as their upgrade(Metal Ratchet, Metal Rod, Squishy Paddles, QEPH), and I am running a R/T just fine.

For the r/t, you don't really need the QEPH or lightening rod. QEPH is more of a speed upgrade that the r/t doesn't really achieve. The vortex mod is always a good upgrade, just because its more reliable. Squishies are good as well as they minimize cyclone breaks.

wally are you trying to manually cycle the Cylone when it is off the marker or AFTER it is on the marker.

How do you figure that the QEPH can't improve the R/T's speed? I noticed a significant speed boost for my R/T after installing the QEPH.

Received my TechT lube thanks to Todd

Just as a side note, if you try and manually feed the cyclone with the bottom plate off, it won't function correctly. The bottom plate has a nub that protrudes out and holds the axle in place. Without the plate on, the axle will actually move from perpendicular and won't cycle correctly.

Wise assertion. It will cycle if you just hold the bottom plate on, or by hold the ratchet with your thumb.

also if you have the cyclone off and have the big bolt, that holds it on the marker, screwed in too far it WILL keep the cyclone from cycling !
