I thought I'd make a poll on this just to clear some things up... Please only vote if you've tried or seen either system in action. Let's keep it clean folks.

IMO, unfair at the time, b/c rap got a misaligned batch of ratchets. This may be better suited in 6 months, when rap gets their new batch out to the people who bought the first set.

Oh well, I'm sure there are some peple that have a good and fair oppinion on what to expect at least...

My RAP4 set now works fine after finding out that the screw that came with the ratchet doesn't work and I had to use the Stock screw. Other than that problem my set has worked fine.

I would recommend the RAP4 set if your low on cash. The Piston Housing, Piston Rod, & Squishy Paddles are all top notch. It's just the Ratchet I'm concerned about.

TechT. Nuff said.

Really, now TechT have ironed out a few bugs with their Squishies, their product line is near flawless. I've put about 3 cases of paint through my cyclone and haven't had a problem. No breaks, nothing. Their customer service is second only to Tippmann themselves.

I haven't heard too many bad things about the RAP4 parts though. Only one person said that they mis-matched parts from TechT and RAP4 and had some troubles. I couldn't tell you off the top of my head what those parts were exactly though. I'd recommend that if you start buying TechT or RAP4 upgrades, continue buying from that same company to get the best possible results.

besides the bum ratchet i got (as did most people), i think the rap4 upgrades are great, and for half the price. i like that the paddles actually lock together, nice touch.

I also got one of the faulty ratchets.it turned me off rap4.
rap4's cust.service never even got back to me!
they could learn alot from Todd at Tech T!(not trying to bash here,either,just stating my experience)

While its not necessarily fair to include the faulty stock that rap4 got into this, its not really fair to TechT to leave it out. To my knowledge, TechT hasn't shipped out a large quantity of faulty merchandise.

as I said,not trying to bash or anything.
I just hate spending my hard earned cash on something that doesn't work or is faulty AND having to foot the bill.leaves behind a bad aftertaste.
