Re: Tech T Lightning Rod Worn!

I had the same thing happen to my Lightning rod (first gen) it had a bearing in the top of the rod that just fell apart and wore a big hole in the end of the rod.(almost all the way through) Lord odin is correct, there was a problem with the first run.Just let Todd at Techt know and he will take care of you I'm sure,he did for me. good luck.

updateI just got off the phone with Todd,explained my problem and like always,No problem,He told me to send the old one back and he'll ship another out.That's what I call Good customer service!Thanks Todd,you're a great guy.

The first generation of TechT rods had tiny needle bearings, not a bushing.
I had one. It failed exactly like that. TechT sent me the bushing to install. Here's a tip...use the stock rod. It's lighter and lasts a long, long time. It works just fine at least up to 23+ bps.
