Cyclone Uprade, noob question.
This is probably really basic but...

I got the Rap4 cyclone upgrade kit today (New ratchet).

I installed all of it save the black tube that is supposed to replace the one I have. The one the screws with the banjo fitting plugs into.

What confuses me is this... There is no place on the new RAP4 feed tube thing to connect the screw too. What then? Does it not need it? How is it going to feed? I thought the little hose was there to feed air in to make it spin? Or does it work some other way?


I am referring to the thing in the below link. Even after watching the video, I just... don't really understand how it feeds air without that hose.

There should be a threaded hole located at the base of the exhaust port housing for your banjo fitting to screw in to. See the pic below.

Well, thats not quite what I needed...

I watched that whole video as I was doing it, and this is the part that confused me. In that link, where the black feed tube is shown and in the video he doesn't connect the screw on banjo back to the powertube...

And there is no spot on it... It is as if its not supposed to go on, I looked and it doesn't go in the same spot. There is no hole on the 'rim' of the Rap4 replacement tube.

So I am kind of confused how it works. That banjo fitting /does/ need to be connected right?

So there is no female thread on the port housing for the banjo fitting, then you have a bad housing. the piston needs air to cycle

Mine looks identical to KRAs... except the banjo has no where on that rim to connect too. Its just solid all the way around.

Send it back to Rap4...?
