The fact is, if you were charged to repair a problem by the shop where you *just bought* a marker (which is already sketchy!), it should work. Period.

I'm not saying that you shouldn't know how to diagnose/fix/maintain your own marker - it really is a pretty simple mechanical device with only a few moving parts - but a shop should stand behind their work.

You've already lost two days of use because of the problem, at this point I'd be inclined to ask for a full refund and take my business somewhere else.
