No sir, not one bit.

Infact, my wargear paddles stopped alot of chopping issues that I had. I would think that perhaps your problem may lie elsewhere.

Re: war gear paddles make me chop

I had the same situation with the interlocking techt paddles, chopped balls all morning one day. Changed the paddles back to stock and perfect the rest of the day. I was only firing 15 bps. I really didnt need them for only 15 bps but wanted to try them out.

Re: war gear paddles make me chop

Paddles may be spinning on the axle causing misfeeds.

Where is the paint breaking? cyclone, breech, chamber, barrel?

He said the balls were being chopped, so i'm guessing in the breach by the front bolt.

I'm inclined to agree with Sideshow and Silent.

Could be either your LPK isn't feeding enough pressure into the marker to allow your cyclone to function properly, or you may have faulty paddles that are slipping on the axle and causing mis-feeds and chops.

Re: war gear paddles make me chop

Try upping the pressure up to 350.

Are you running the 1/8" hose? Are the screws on the 1/8 fittings aligned like so? [( | )]====[( | )]

Everything lubed correctly? Thick lube on the ratchet and oil on all other parts? Including the Rod seal.

Manually cycle the cyclone. Does it move smoothly? Or is it hard to push in or grinds/scrapes?

Re: war gear paddles make me chop

I used the Wargear paddles for the first time this weekend and started chopping balls in the same way...I thought it was me but after reading this I put the old paddles back on and no problems....I was origonaly thinking it may have been that because I have recently polished the internals that maybe the cyclone was not keeping up bit it is still only shooting at 15 BPS
