| I am a new guy an i am about to get an A-5. I am thinking about one that is camoed. is the A-5 stealth good? What is a response trigger? what is an E-grip? ![]() I have a spyder shutter and soon going to get an a-5. Should I get an a-5 stealth? What is the stealth marker? (I am new to the sport.) I like woodsball more than speedball. should i get a cyclone feed system on a A-5? Don't use all caps or special characters to draw attention to your post, please. | Re: should i The A-5 comes with the cyclone feed system. That's the whole selling point of the marker. Are you sure you don't have one on yours? It's the big black plastic cylindrical device that attaches to the front-right side of the receiver and that the hopper attaches on to. ![]() As tetra said, if you don't have one then yes, get one. You won't be able to play without it (unless you have a q-loader)! Last edited by Andrew : 11-17-2007 at 05:47 PM. |

| Re: new guy I'm not sure that camo A-5's are still readily available, but I could be wrong. The stealth package, iirc, includes a stock, the flatline barrel, and it's own remote. Personally, I'm not a fan of the stealth. I don't care for the flatline, I don't like the stock that it comes with, and I have my own remote - thank you very much. That said, if you want a flatline, like the CAR-style stock, and don't have a remote - go for it. I suggest you search around here - you can find a number of good threads on the merits of different barrel systems. The response trigger is an addon that can accelerate the rate of fire of an A-5. Essentially, back-pressure from the powertube runs through a hose to a piston located behind the trigger. This piston kicks the trigger back into the return position and makes for quicker firing. With a light touch, you can hold the trigger in a position that allows for bursting or full auto fire. The e-Grip is a grip assembly that contains an electronic board and a battery, and gives the same selection in firing modes that you'll find in other electronic markers - from single, to ramping, full auto, burst, turbo, etc. The A-5 comes with a WAS board, and APE makes an aftermarket replacement that is generally favored here. Both have merits and issues, and again I urge you to briefly browse around - you'll find a lot of discussions on them. And please, for the love of all that's holy, use a font less painful on the eyes. ![]()

| Re: guns and talk [should i get an a5 stealth?] a) Please post us all the gear you have at the moment so we can dish out informed advice. For example, there is no point buying a marker without an air/co2 tank. b) Please list what the A5 stealth includes. As far as i remember it is simply a name for a specific collection of parts + A5, but i cant remember off the top if my head what they are. c) The bold text does nothing for you. Infact perhaps a detriment.
