| I don't know if anyone has thought of this yet, but i would think it makes sense. I mean, I was reading what Todd from TechT had said about the QEV and X-7 Cyclone Piston Housing versus his newest product, the TechT QEPH, and it got me thinking... He states the the X-7 Cyclone vents only on the forward stroke, while the Palmer's QEV vents only on the return stroke... So, it dawned on me, why not combine the two to make a sorta QEPH on a budget, rather than performing the rather MacGuyver-esque risky mod discussed in a previous thread? I can't believe that it appears that no else has thought of this... Am I brilliant? Or just plain nutz? You get the most benefit out of this if you have a QEV already from the pre-QEPH era. I mean, the X-7 Piston Housing is only a mere $18 on www.tippmannparts.com. Sure, it won't be as completely high-quality as the TechT QEPH, but hey, it still works, eh? Please give your thoughts, opinions, and comments on the matter. Thank you.

| Re: *QEPH on a budget! Anyone? Tippmann Gunner* is right, this will be VERY useful to budget ballers who want to upgrade their Cyclone to the max, but with the biggest bang for your buck. The way I see it, why not use your ~$10-$25 QEV and just pay $18 for a part that will complement the effects of the QEV, as opposed to shelling out an additional $35 for a part that will completely replace your QEV, rendering it completely useless? That just doesn't make sense to me. The difference in quality will not affect the performance THAT much to warrant the extra money, unless you want the best of the best. This is meant to be the best value. Any takers? I really wanna know what you people think.

| Re: *QEPH on a budget! I understand what you guys are saying, but the point I'm trying to make, is that if you have the Palmer's QEV already, why not make use of it, rather than replacing a perfectly good $30 part with a brand new $35 part. You not only save $19 this way, but if you do go ahead and buy the TechT QEPH, the way I see it you're wasting $65. Do you get what I'm saying? I'm not only talking about resources saved and reused, but also resources wasted. That being said, if you do not possess a QEV, then by all means, I would say go QEPH, all the way! Does that make sense? I might be a lil fuddled due to some heavy medications I'm on... So please feel free to point out any existing flaws in my logic.

| Well, you technically could, but it would have little to no effects. That's why if you wanna do it on a budget, and you already have a QEV, then why not just combine that with the forward exhaust ports on the X-7 Piston Housing? That's my main point here.
