My SL8R is in a similar place as yours Shade, I've finally got about 8,000 shots on it, so I'm finally getting it broken in. another few cases and she'll be ready for some tweaking. I usually wait til I have about 10,000 shots through it before I start to tinker.

I can tell though that its much much smoother than when I first bought it. I can't wait until I have if fully broken in and tuned.

At first my 06 was uncomfortable due to the reg not being adjust right (90 fitting facing back) and the gauge on the side. Moved the reg and put a plug in the guage port and now she feels wonderful.

What I don't like about how my 06's feel; since none of mine have gauges thats not the issue

The issue I have with mine is the feel of the frame. I just don't like the stock 06 frame. I did when I first shot the 06's but when I get my Dark that frame kind spoiled me. also between games I hold my marker by the entire tail, and the 06 "tail" feels super weird.
