Update:

the 98 is going to tippmann i figgured out it'd leaking in the valve and don't wanna break it lol.

I think the mini is leaking because the gauge reads 230psi.





Ok i didn't know exactly where to put it so i thought this was the best place. Also sincew everyone on the other forums is always on this one i thought i'd get more attention on here.

First off my ego etek is leaking where the macro line and the first 90* fitting go together and out the barrel. I tried oil in the asa and didn't help.

Sencond my mini leaks some where in the grips when i shoot fast. I put a drop of oil in the asa helped for a lil. Then i put 2 more and it didn't help.

Third my friends 98 FROZE!!!!!! There was snow all in his gun and it was ice cold!!! After it cooled off and we took the snow out we tried another tank and it did the same thing. Also we already played for like 3 hours before it did this.

I was wondering what you guys think before i take apartguns i've never seen the insides of.

I dunno about your etek and mini never owned either of them. But maybe your friend is tilting the 98 letting liquid co2 get into it?

CO2 will do that to a gun when it's fired at higher ROF for extended periods of time. Switching to HPA will fix that problem.

As for the Etek and Mini problems, PM Sideshow on the PEOG and he should be able to help. He's a PE Tech.

if the 98 is not leaking then its a high rate of fire or the velocity is way up there. if it is leaking check the valve orings. and the valve for cracks along with the power tube

as far as the mini there is a 2 peice tube in the grip (cant remember the exact name for it) thats where i would start. ill see if i cant pull up a picture for ya

Ok i got the mini fix thread. Tomorrow they go in for surgery MMUUUUAHAHAHAHAAHHAAA!!!!!!!!
I just can't figured out if i can use my extreme rage oil on everything or if i need a different type.
Also the etek doesn't have a fix yet???

you need grease for the mini. there should have been some included in your tool kit. i use smart parts sleek lube. Per the mini manual never use oil always use some paintball grease dow33 is recomended. i cant help on the etek i know nothing about them

I'm on the phone with walmart looking for dow 33 (they don't have it). Where can i get it and i got it used so it was the gun and a ul barrel.

any paintball store should have some. i dont know about retail stores. my first place would be auto motive stores.
