| The day started off as usaul everyone gearing up for a day of scenario play. With the new Beat the heat format in play - each mission is 30-45min long, take a 30-45 min break, lunch 1hr, they ran two missions before lunch and two missions after lunch. the frist half of the day the Blue side dominated the red earning the win on the first two missions.During lunch the staff decided that each side needed commanders and put the call out that they needed 3 commanders for each side. After lunch red came back on the 3rd and earned the win. The last and final mission red held blue at bay but slowly started losing the foothold while some members of blue flanked red's right side pushing them back away from the objective. Blue earned the win on the last mission Pts Red - 1800 Blue- 2000 After talking to some of the guys on red found out that there was no leadership and everyone went off and did there own thing regardless of what the commanders side. I personally had a great time ( i was on blue )I had someone tell me that another A5OG'er was there but couldnt find him(or her) meet alot of good people and made some new friends, will post up some pics as soon as i can | ||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Re: Wild Wild West Scenario I must have been the other A5OG'er since I was wearing my patch. It was interesting to hear that the blue side was lacking leaders as well. (I played red.) After the first game, I and Will from Riot stepped up to command but our CP ref had rounded up some people to lead..I think they were from DC Terror. Will stayed on as general and I stepped down to bark orders from the front. It was like a whole other team when we came back from lunch! It was amazing. I will say that given how much shorter the playing field was than normal, controlling the castle which was right in the middle of all the action was key even for the games where the castle was not in play. Sadly, we didn't realize that until much later. |
