Re: Slimmer Flatline shroud?

you could potentially tone down the sheen using some 1500 grit sand paper or steel wool. This will however give the shroud a "graining" look but will be more dull. also you could add a small weaver rail to it and if your a little handy could drill/cut a pattern into it. After i would stuff it with some cort of sound absorting material.

Re: Slimmer Flatline shroud?

maybe, there could be someway to take the flatline barrel handguard from a Tippmann 98, and mount it to an A5 flatline. just an idea.

yeah that's nice... but for $110? that's more than I paid for my flatline brand spanking new. Does it come with the actual flatline barrel? I can't find any verification of that...

Re: Slimmer Flatline shroud?

i think the flatline would fit inside a mp5sd...
with a little tinkering.. ..
it is only a bit to short.. the flatline ends when the shroud still goes..

Re: Slimmer Flatline shroud?

I think that falls within PG-13. Ultra Magnus even got some slack back in the 80's... lol

I hope that doesn't count as swearing... if it does, sorry mods I'm gonna leave it for now to see if it counts or not, for future reference. Oh, and I stand by it, too His stuff is pretty righteous.

You are correct, although it can be difficult to successfully buy stuff there. I've been looking on ebay for the last month and a half to get a cheap flatline that I could experiment with porting (see how badly it wrecks the functionality) and I'm getting bid sniped in the last 30 seconds.

Re: Slimmer Flatline shroud?

you'll never get one as good as the metadyne. Their stuff is FANTASTIC. You get what you pay for, and their stuff is the best of the best. Oh, I have one too! And the tri-rail.
