Re: A Full Guide to the Flatline Barrel

yea, i dont want a Chain gun when i get my e-grip, i want a machine gun sounding gun (like around 5-8bps) i want it to sound cool ya know?

anyway, i got my flatline today and it works okay, it was very windy so it didnt perform as i wanted it to, plus i was using old paint (big ball, mnster ball mix) so im gonna try it out on the range one i get some EVIL or something like that. im having trouble keeping it in place tho. i insert the barrel, twist to lock it and it feels sort of loose. any ideas on how to stop this?

thanks

Re: A Full Guide to the Flatline Barrel

Double check your hex screws. If that isn't it wrap a small piece of elec. tape on the adapter. I can't find the link right now. One of these 2 things should do it.

Re: A Full Guide to the Flatline Barrel

just to clarify:

the Flatline barrel is attached by a hidden screw to its barrel adapter and is not ment to be take off unless its needs to be re-aligned becuase it was sent from the factory poorly attached. take off the shroud by removing the two screws and look underneath the barrel. you will see a white line along the bottom, this is the center line. it must be strait in order for the flatline to shoot strait. when you install the flatline barrel on the A-5, if that center line isn't on the bottom (cannot bt off to one side at all) then you need to loosen the barrel adapter (look for a small hole) and loosen the screw deep inside the hole. more the barrel over and tighten when in proper place.

Re: A Full Guide to the Flatline Barrel

i already found the hidden screw, but the barrel still wouldn't come off the adaptor. I also need to figure out how to increase my velocity. I'm only getting around 230fps which sucks for this barrel. i have an HPA 4500 psi with an 800 psi regulator. doesn't matter how far out the screw is, i don't get over 245 fps =( does that spring kit fix this problem?

IT could, or you could have other problems. However that is off this topic, Please make a new thread.

Velocity problems are not flatline problems.

It is when the velocity problem is only present with the flatline installed...

Re: A Full Guide to the Flatline Barrel

still, this is more of a tutorial on the flatline, and meant mostly to be for maintenence, installation, and understanding of the actual unit. Since the conversation about your problem hasn't garnered many responses in this thread maybe it would be better to start a new thread about it within the flatline section so that more people who might have knowledge of your problem can find it and help you.
