| Re: A Full Guide to the Flatline Barrel I was in a very similiar situation as you, i had an a5 with rt and flatline and the little tubes on the right reciever literally froze. The best thing to do, get a pure energy air tank, they are really expensive if theyr'e the ones made out of carbon fiber(almsot 200$) but i got the aluminum tank for 60$ and although it is a little heavy, i absolutly love it.

| Re: A Full Guide to the Flatline Barrel This site and sticky ROCKS! I am working a A-5 w/ Flatline and I am having issues. The first day I went out with it the weather was like 30 degrees. Yeah I know this was my first problem. So now that I am gearing up for the Spring (yeah I know it's early) I want to get this thing fine tuned. I'm going to run CO2 in it for now. I hope ejam (NJ) will be able to help me set this thing up right. I had to stop mid game and pull out my J&J ceramic sniper to finish the day. |

| Re: A Full Guide to the Flatline Barrel yea, i currently own a flatline barrel with a R/T and was told by a paintballer friend to run boiling water down the barrel to smooth out the inside so that it doesnt break balls and can shoot the cheap balls, is that true?

| Re: A Full Guide to the Flatline Barrel Boiling water is true. Smoothing out the internals is NOT true, and if you manage this, you will destroy the flatline's effect. If you want to shoot cheap paint, get a straight barrel.

| Re: A Full Guide to the Flatline Barrel i find the best balls for the job are BLAZE they are designed not to break in the gun but to break on target plus they are very accurate. They are in the middle of the price range at 70 dollars a pop (Canadian)
