Headbanger Re: How does Flatline work with Egrip?

well here is my exp. with the flatline and speed. i had an r/t on my a5 for a couple of months and never had a ball break. i upgraded to an e-grip(ape rampage) with a double trigger when i went to HPA. i put the grip on full auto and started shooting. i was trying everything to make it break a ball. shaking it, jostling, hitting it on the side of the shroud at random times. NOT ONE BREAK. i tried...really tried and couldn't get it to break. but i guess if i turned up the bps it could but im happy with 15. hope this helps

I shoot this combo. Be sure to upgrade your cyclone feeder. The stock plastic parts break frequently. Tech T make the best upgrades for this purpose. So spend the bucks it will avoid tons of frustration

Re: How does Flatline work with Egrip?

15bps and I haven't had one in probably 12 cases of paint. Of course, an r/t could hit that ROF, but you shouldn't have anymore of a problem than you would your r/t.

Re: How does Flatline work with Egrip?

I use an egrip and bought a flatline barrel, Ive never broken a ball in my A5 untill i put that flatline on there. I was using marballizers so i know the paint was not an issue, that barrel is not for me, i put it on ebay a week after i bought it. Some people love it some hate it and have better luck than others. I personally will never touch a flatline again

Send it back to Tippmann, they will re-sandblast the barrel and make it like new again. I think it is free, or at least cheap. Verification anyone? its late and I need to go to bed.

Re: How does Flatline work with Egrip?

I just received my flatline back and it was free to re sandblast it. Just include a check for $7 for the return shipping.

Re: How does Flatline work with Egrip?

I just got my flatline this weekend and took it out back and ran 500 Marbleizers thru it on different settings on my egrip (still with the 5 default settings and mostly on full auto...single shot is boring LOL)...I didnt get a single break on any of them.
