The resuolution on this is pretty low and would not be that practicle for game play. For this particular model you may need to place it directly within your line of site.

Other versions used by the military and for use with hobby aircraft that I've seen for sale have the view finder just bellow the eye for reference. This is similar to the old IBM over eye monitors.

It would be interesting to use this one during a night game...

Doesn't seem too practical. How about getting shot while wearing that. I can imagine that this equipment isn't the most durable. Keep it simple, if it works even better.
