Special Ops Fusion Battle pants

I recently bought these pants (these are the clearance pants that are darker and have the white thread a good deal for the pants) and got the large size and well they're a bit long not even close to the inseam size posted on the SpecOps sizing chart. The inseam is supposed to be a 30 for a large size of pants but instead the inseam is probably a 34 or 36 long. Anyway has anybody ever tried to hem these pants up and if so what did you do about that zipper on the side of both legs. If I dont get them hemmed Ill be walking around the playing field like this trying not to trip over myself >>>>>>>>>>

Welp.... I'm no seamstress or how ever you spell it, but maybe you could cut the pants in half above the zipper/velcro, kinda like you were making shorts. Then cut the excess fabric off, then sew the 2 parts back together.

Or you could contact spec ops and tell them that they messed up the sizes.

If you are certain that the inseam is incorrect then I suggest you contact Special Ops and get an exchange rather than hacking up you new pants.

Problem with hacking them like shorts is the knee padding and the inside mesh part, plus that's too much work. Kudos for thinking outside the box Spud.
And not only am I certain but have measured the inseam twice and it measures 34 inches so it's far from 30 inches posted on the Spec Ops size chart of 30 inches. I think I could hem them up but a bit but will probably return them for another pair as you suggest Millslane. Though wouldn't another pair of the same size yield the same result?

EDIT* Millslane checked out your team website and noticed some of your team seem to have the same style pants. Do any of them have the large (32-37 waist) with the 30 inch inseam? Just curious.
