is there a tuffer red dot available that can take a paintball hit??

you could always try some of those anti-glare removable lens covers on the next one? AT the least the lens cover should take the brunt of the impact

I am planning on putting some plexiglass behind my flip up lens covers to protect the lens. That should prevent the lenses from being broken, and make them easier to clean.

bsa rd30 yeah i just did all this work "flat top" mod for this site and bam 2nd time playing with it

your best bet,is just make make a plexiglass sight cover
for the best protection

ps... it looks like that you were the german sniper in saving private ryan...lol

i didnt go all the way through. just broke the outside lense. i wasnt looking through it at the time.

i was ducking behind a bunker (being shot at) when i was raising my head up to take a shot he fired 3-4 shots (took one to the nugget) and the other 2 hit the gun and red dot.

No RedDot or scope is going to be able to take a hit like that without breaking it. Like was said above you gotta make a little plexiglass shield.
