Paintball Pants - Digi Woodland

Now I don't want a bunch of replies that just link what they have seen online, or what-not..I can do that.

What I am looking for is people who have themselves used and recommend a COMFY, durable, breathable set of paintball pants that are a damn good resemblance to MARPAT or woodland digital. I am looking for something that the color is MOSTLY the pattern, not just mainly black. so that they match our team jerseys

wearing actual MARPAT trousers in scenarios proves to be too damn hot in Florida, ESPECIALLY in summer and on MOUT sites which are 99% concrete.

So far, the Tipp/SO Ultralites appear to be close, and even if they only last 4 games, are worth investment, HOWEVER I have not seen them in life, or seen any real reviews.

Thanx for your help

Re: Paintball Pants - Digi Woodland

I just picked up a set of Multicam Smokin Paintball Pants. They are comfortable and well made. Here is the review that convinced me to buy them. Review: 'Smokin Products' Outlast Paintball Pants They also make them in MARPAT, Tiger Strip, ACU and Woodland. FYI I have no association with Smokin Products. I'm just a customer.

Smokin' MARPAT Pants Material:

80% - 50/50 nylon/cotton (overall pant) 20% Cordura (knee) - Very comfortable and extremely breathable. Authentic MARPAT material with heavy-duty Cordura® knee with for those that need extra strength knees for sliding and moving around. Also have drawstrings at the bottom of each leg.
Note - for better durability, our material we use has changed slightly from the original material we used.

Sizes:
(MARPAT pants runs true to size)
  • Small: 26-30
  • Medium: 30-34
  • Large: 34-40
  • XL: 40-44
  • XXL: 44-48
  • XXXL: 48-54

RH side lower leg w/swab pocket & Cordua protected knees.

Back side & leg ties.

Waist is adjustable w/ Velcro

RH side has small pocket.

I would recomend Spec ops paintball pants, they have several different types, my favorite is the fusion 7 pants, they are really comfortable, u can find them in about any online store.

Re: Paintball Pants - Digi Woodland

I've got some of the SO Fusion pants. If you're worried about getting hot, then you don't want them. I wear them every game no matter the weather and I really wish I didn't have to. It gets really hot, they're great pants, but they don't breathe well. I know this didn't really help to choose the right one, but I hope it will help.

On another note, I think the SO digi is pretty close to MARPAT. If the pattern is the same, the Ultralites should be good. I'm actually thinking about trying them out for myself. Good luck.

Re: Paintball Pants - Digi Woodland

I just bought these the other day and wore them for the first time this morning. Quite comfortable, even with as hot and humid as it was. I'm pleased with the purchase, and the price was certainly right.

Re: Paintball Pants - Digi Woodland

Thats the thing, I dont WANT BDU's but the football jersey style material of paintball pants in a Digi woodland pattern that is close to MARPAT.

Those tru-specs are no better off then my actuall Marine issued MARPAT's

Re: Paintball Pants - Digi Woodland

If you're serious about having a pattern match, you could call SpecOps and do a custom order. I recall seeing a pair of pants in the Fusion cut, made with Multicam pattern fabric. Maybe you could have the same thing done, in MARPAT?

Re: Paintball Pants - Digi Woodland

I also have the Smokin Marpat pants. I also play some speedball here and there, but for scenarios with my team. These pants are awesome. With the padding its great for sliding in just about any type of terrain. I always use to scrach my knees up but not any more with these pants. These are alot like the type Speedballers have except a little more durable but just about as light, which is great for hot weather.

a Huge upgrade from BDU's.
