T8 Custom Kydex Holsters

Well I have a partially finished holster on the bricks, that I pressed with a hard foam cast I made for the forming plug.
It did pretty decent, but It don't quite form as precise as I would like it to, due to the kydex being so thick.
It does how ever have perfect functionality.

Now I will finish this one tomorrow, but I have another "beta test run" to try because of fate.
I happened to meet a new friend, who's Dad happens to own a huge cabinet making facility.
Come to find out, he has an industrial vacuum forming machine.
Whats even better, he said we could use it anytime we need to!
This will hopefully yield an even tighter form, getting a more professional looking holster overall.
Anyhow, this thing is getting ready to be released, and I should have the first one for sale within this week.

Here is the preview vid. Keep in mind that its not completed, so there are some odds and ends that need to be catered to yet.

Has quite a bit more refining to go through, but atleast this shows off the idea behind the deal.

Barrel Sock?????? since its an open holster, to be field legal you'll have to put a barrel sock or some BBD on it. Also what would the wear be on the T8 after a lot of use?

Actually, the holster that comes with the T8 has an open bottom and some fields accept that in the safe zone as the holster is hard and you cannot reach the trigger is the T8 is in the holster.

Depends on the field. But, yes some demand a barrel also.

Thanks for your comments and input.
As for the open holster, I dont have to cut it to an open end like I did for this one.
I think they look better this way, but if someone was to want a closed holster, I shouldn't have any problems doing that.

Haha, druid Im on so many forums and building in between I have a hard time keeping up.
I kid you not, Im on forums answering questions or replying to inquires about 3 hours a day, and I still dont get to all of them!

Anyhow, I did answer you on the other forums.
Here it is again.

One can get sheets up to the size of a large piece of ply wood if needed.
I usually get precut sheets, but now that I have access to a panel cutter, I may very well get to the point of buying in larger sheets like this.
You can get loads of colors and thickness's for what ever the application.
