Re: New ACU Advance Combat Clothing?

Depends on how you intend to wear it. Those shirts are meant to be worn under vests / plate carriers so that the tight fitting torso wicks the moisture away from your body, and gets rid of the bulk of buttons / zippers / pockets.

If you're just using a chest rig or waist pack, there's no point in wearing a shirt like that. Getting hit with a tight thin torso like that is painful.

Re: New ACU Advance Combat Clothing?

According to what I've read though, they've had problems with the under armor esque material of the chest/torso region fusing to soldier's bodies when they are exposed to the heat of an IED blast and various other high heat instances.

(Granted burned flesh is a low priority in a bomb blast, but a minus all the same.)

Although I doubt you intend to encounter any IED's while on the paintball field. I just thought I'd throw that out there. Just stay away from the C3 players and you'll not fuse yourself to your shirt. (I'm just teasing propane marker lovers....)

Re: New ACU Advance Combat Clothing?

I have owned a few spec ops vests. Very pleased with them. Not too bulky either

Re: New ACU Advance Combat Clothing?

exactly. They are ment to be worn under plate carriers and vests. I just prefer my USMC issued MARPAT jacket under my MARPAT vest.

I'm working on getting a Multicam vest but I would need someones input on RAP4s Tac Ten vest in Eight Color Desert camo. Particularly on if it came with pods and how close does it match Multicam in terms of colors used.

Hey do what you want to do, but I think you would look terrible in womens clothing It reminds me of the original Crye shirt, I would love to own one for a MARPAT setup.

Re: New ACU Advance Combat Clothing?

HA! That is pretty funny. I'm stuck with ACU's for the time being. They need one for

multicam- Only hides you in the desert (I'm sticking to it)
