I wonder what you OGers prefer? Padding or no padding. I rather go with no padding. I believe that the fear of getting hit is part of the adrenaline rush because you know is gonna hurt. No padding adds to the whole realistic experience. Padding gives you confidence taking the edge of the rush away because you know is not gonna hurt as much.

PS: Elbow pads, knee pads, are intended for protection from the terrain not from paintball shots and cups are to protect you down there I don't think any man can get hit there and pretend it didn't happened.

When you get hit you learn not to make the same mistakes twice. Padding ruins this since you can do stupid things knowing it won't hurt and you just won't evolve as a paintballer.

I prefer charging the enemy in a t-shirt. I just laugh at all the cowards that go out on a hot summer day in sweaters and jerseys.

The only padding I might wear is around the jewels. I took a REALLY REALLY REALLY bad hit there last year. Did I mention it was a bad hit. I'm yet to get any protection for there but I'm looking.

Another thing that always makes me laugh is when a bunch of new players are all wearing JT chest protectors from Wal-Mart.

Nah, I consider family jewel protection to be a LOT different from padded vests and jumpsuits or what have you. A cup is just standard equipment and common sense as far as I'm concerned. As for the rest of the padding out there, someone else can have it...

I wear Slider Shorts, an Under Armer T shirt, my MARPAT Jacket & Pants in all weather; rain, snow, sleet, sun, etc. If that's considered padding, than I guess I wear some. I get a little warm sometimes, but I don't get welts, and I'll do a whole lot more hair brain diving and rolling than other folks on the field.

It is diferent! I use a cup too! By padding I mean everything else besides cups. I'll rather get shot in the face with out a mask than get shot down there with out a cup.

When I see them I mess with them. I'll be like " Wow look at that vest... Where did you get that... THats so cool... I wanna be cool like you!" Then I take my sweater off and play in a tight back tank top. That's when they go like "Oh shishhh" LOL

Sometimes I'll use padding....as in other players or refs... I play in ACU pants and a Tshirt. I'll just put people in between myself to give me a meat shield... but no REAL pads....pansy stuff
