Short Solid Stock or Folding Stock

Hey guys, I'm still new to the forums and I wanted to see what your guys think. I don't know if I should get a short solid stock (the Galil stock by OPS GEAR) or a folding stock (also by OPS GEAR). I do quite a bit of CQB, but I'm a little lost. Thanks.

Re: Short Solid Stock or Folding Stock

Hmm..since your callsign has 'sniper' in it but you also do some CQB, I say go for the folding stock. Good for both scenarios.

Re: Short Solid Stock or Folding Stock

I love my CAR Stock myself...it's good for both open field, where I can extend it out and for CQB to keep it short and compact, but still give me the stability I want.

Re: Short Solid Stock or Folding Stock

I'd go for a JCS folding stock, they're more solidly built (aircraft aluminum), and you can get them with a rear velocity adjuster.

Re: Short Solid Stock or Folding Stock

I had a JCS Folding stock on my 98 custom, but it wobbled WAY too much for my liking. Do you have one on your a5 gotpaint92?

Re: Short Solid Stock or Folding Stock

I have a CAR stock from Tippmann on mine and I love it. Just have to get raised sights for it.

No, I use a CAR stock, it's nice but it prevents a good line of sight, I wouldn't recommend one. I've never heard of JCS stocks wobbling much though. I'm going to do some research on that.
