Hi, I created an animated gif, 2 images in GIMP, gave each image 4000 ms (4 seconds) play time, saved as an animation etc.

I tested it in my SIG but when rendered in my browser it played with no delay at all.

I have see a couple of images delivered on A5OG that did play with what seems to be a proper delay.

What am i missing...

Your file size is probably a little on the large side. Animated gifs will appear far better when you have them local and open just them up. When you try to have them remote and see how they run with all the other graphics up on the screen, that's when you generally notice problems. What's your file size?

i think i got it fixed..

the file is ~ 24 k.. it is the image in my sig, used a different tool to set the delay and it now seems to be working. need to investigate why the delay did not set properly in GIMP.
