My great grandfathers Fought in the Great War (WWI) and stayed in the military for another 10+ years after. My uncle was RCHA for 10 years. If i asked ANY of them, they would all agree with me. Cant argue against that many veterans that have been fighting for that many years. And yes, CPGEAR does sell end of the roll cadpat to the public. I still think its wrong, thats just me. And again with the out of service uniforms... Yeah sure they demand respect but if you use that logic.... the same as whats his nuts above (too lazy to spell the name again) We shouldnt be wearing anything. And the reason CBC pushes the fake stuff is cause well, for the reason stated... Its better than pushing the real stuff. In this case its just a which is less wrong issue. And in this case, tigerstripes is less wrong than wearing oh lets say my uniform or some other in-service uniform. I guess the next paintball game i go to ill paintball naked. If i get shot in the dink, its your fault. Cause thats the logic we use here on A5OG.

Okay, well first of all don't flame people that is unacceptable here, if you can't have a simple debate without taking it to a personal level you don't need to post on this forum.
You all know I love debates so I have to get involved with this one.
You obviously mistook nchittendon's post because he wasn't saying we shouldn't wear any camo he said we should be able to wear whatever camo
we want but using your logic we shouldn't wear any type of camo that was used past or present. You manipulated his words to help your argument and that certainly isn't fair. I certainly agree that we should respect those who have been in the service and I think that by wearing the uniform they wore you are showing them the utmost respect. I don't understand your argument of how we should not wear a type of camo because it is being used
right now. To me this makes no since, I certainly don't agree with people wearing the patches that show rank/division/branch. I think that that shows disrespect. If you want to have all the insignia join the military instead. However that's a different discussion, I agree with nchittendon saying that if we should respect current camo by not wearing it we should respect past camo by not wearing it. What makes people in the service NOW more special than those in the past?

I quoted this in particular because that is only 6 people that are all in the same family. I'm sure if I asked a strictly republican family who they were going to vote for they would all tell me the same answer. That doesn't mean the president is going to be republican though. I know men and women in the service and they have no problem with people wearing Cadpat/ACU's/Marpat as long as they are not pretending to be in the military with the insignia.
Sure we could argue all day about this but I'm not going to. I know your opinion won't change and I won't lose any sleep over it. This argument doesn't even pertain to me as I don't wear camo anyway. You can keep arguing as you please but please show some moderation. Don't talk about people rudely or take personal hits at them. That is unacceptable.
