I've never had an issue with water in my Egrip (old dial style).

As far as playing in the rain I have no issue with it as long as it's not cold and raining. I spent many a night while in the Army laying in the freezing rain, and I won't do it anymore unless my life literally depends on it. Hypothermia sucks.

Re: Paintball in the rain?

I've never had an issue playing in the rain. I've played in heavy rain quite a few times and my a-5 and egrip has never failed me yet. Personally I think it adds another factor to the game because of the sound of the rain falling in the forest can drown out other sounds and how slippery it can get with heavy rain fall.

"Dude, we can't play...it's pouring."
"THEN WE SHALL FIGHT IN THE MUD!"

That sums it up. I'll play anywhere, anytime. Just let me use a stock trigger for rainy games.

Roger that being a native Oregonian you learn to become comfy in the rain.
I love it besides the fact you can't avoid it here, the rain mud and muck just add a good mood and elemnt to the battlefield.

Even if it gets to the point where it effects effieceny....Everyone is having the same porblems to the new aspect to victory is who can get it under control and adapt and overcome.

Re: Paintball in the rain?

Played for a bit at the last Charleston MPP event in the rain.

It was the night game, hurricane like winds and rain.

The lightning and tornadoes ran us inside tho.

Re: Paintball in the rain?

I would play in the rain. I think I would take my e-grip off and use my mech though.

I agree, I grew up on the Oregon coast so I love the rain and generally despise hot weather.

I even had a game in the hail a few months back - absolutely wonderful.

Re: Paintball in the rain?

I live in the Pacific Northwest, that should say it all. Rain can become a way of life in these parts and whatever you have planned doesn't stop due to rain.

Re: Paintball in the rain?

Rain, no problem. As for the egrip issue maybe you should think about an r/t!

Re: Paintball in the rain?

It was raining? Is that why my boots got muddy! No electronics, no problem. I also have a goggle fan, helps a lot.

In that vein, "Do you know how to tell its summer in the Northwest? The rain gets warm!"
