New to the Forum and paintball

Hey guys just got into paintball..was invited to a game went and got hooked....came home and promptly started looking for the best all around marker to buy... after alot of research I concluded the A-5 was my best bet. Got a nearly new A-5 with a teardrop barrel , R/T , t-stock with remote hookup and 2 20oz, 1 9oz, CO2 tanks for $150.

Got into the game a little late as I'm 46 but hope to hook up with some players around here in PA. I'm about 25 min. from skirmish. I've been lurking and reading on this forum for a while and thought I'd better give warning that I'll be asking alot of noob questions soon.

Anyway this seems like a great board and I'm glad I found it......

Re: New to the Forum and paintball

Welcome the OG Sully!! You definitlely made a good choice in the A5. It's a very good marker. The community here is very helpful and friendly and welcome your questions. There is a wealth of knowledge to be found and more than likely most of the questions you will think of have been talked about at one point or another. Just use the search function and you can probably find an answer. If you don't find anything post away. Like I said there are some very knowledgable folks here.

Again welcome the best paintball forumn on the net!!

Re: New to the Forum and paintball

Welcome to the forum! That is quite the awesome deal you got for your A-5 since all that stuff would run at least $300 from a store!

I see that VVulfe has already gotten to the mantra, but if you don't know what that means yet you will soon...

Feel free to ask your questions early and often since everyone here is very knowledgeable and willing to help. Oh and don't forget to use the Search button since some of your questions might have already been covered before.

Re: New to the Forum and paintball

Gotcha beat on the age thing! 54 yrs old here so I'd say you're not coming in late at all. Been playing and lurking around p/b forums for a few years now. This one is the best I've found for friendly help and advice. You can be noobish about A5's or even paintball in general and you get treated well. A huge amount of information hides behind the search button here. It really is your best friend for a quick and detailed answer. Welcome to the Forum!

Re: New to the Forum and paintball

Welcome! I just got into it a few months back, decided on the A-5, bought it for 180$, abox of paintballs for 30$, four 20 oz. tanks and a mask. I've been hooked ever since. The community is very helpful here, I was hooked on these forums like I was on paintball!
