Paintball in the rain?

Was wondering peoples opinions on playing in the rain. Personally as long as it stayed a slight drizzle, I would, but if it started to really come down Im done.

Re: Paintball in the rain?

I voted no because I've played in the rain several times and your goggles fog up, your scopes get moisture in them, and if it rains heavy enough your e-grip gets wet and shorts out. (although I have a mech trigger to put on) Overall I just prefer good weather; early spring or fall with lots of sunshine and a breeze to conceal your movement.

Re: Paintball in the rain?

Oh hell yes!
I use mostly mechanical markers so I don't have issues in terms of gear at all.
Worst case scenario I would be running my A-5 with egrip but then i'd just drop that in the staging area and switch to my tac-8 which is always strapped onto my leg.
Plus it's just straight up good fun to watch all the 'lil agglets run off the field trying to keep their precious electros dry under their jerseys.

Re: Paintball in the rain?

yes playing in the rain does definitely add another angle to the game...and it makes for a challenging day...so yes, let it rain...

I recenlty played in the rain back at the beginning of december. I remember running for a bunker and the opfor had an angle on it. I tried to reverse gears and all I remember was my feet going 100mph and me not going anywhere..man that was fun..
