How To Put Tank Under Barrel? (A5)

I'm getting an A-5 soon and want to put the tank under the barrel. I want to know what parts will be needed. Any help is greatly appreciated, as always. Here is a pic of what I want to do:

Too each his own! I don't know why you would want so much forward weight? With tank, Filled with CO2, and paintballs loaded could you even get the barrel front tip to point up?

I could see maybe under the grip forward.

If you use the tank as a foregrip then it's not that bad. Does anyone know how I could do this?

Yup, BT Paintball sells an adapter for this kind of setup. Sorry, the only link I could get (at work) is here...CanadianPaintball.com Ben Tippmann Accessories Ben Tippmann BT16 Horizontal Bottle Adaptor, half way down the page...it screws into the tombstone as well as into the vert fore grip nut. There's also a few other ways of doing it but this is one piece.

Are you 100% sure that this will work with a Tippmann A-5? And wouldn't I need to mill the fin off the gun to fit a tank?

Re: How To Put Tank Under Barrel? (A5)

Yes, this works on the A5. I can't do a good enough search at work to find more info on it for you. I'm not sure about the fin, I don't think it needs to be cut to fit the tank. I'll try a better search later. There's also the Cooper T 90 degree asa, Cooper-T Tank Receivers. I do notice there is no fin on the one you posted.

ps. I think this is a neat way of doing what your asking for. Seems neat and I do like MilSim but if your going to need more than 200 shots in one game you may look for a different idea.

Looks like a pretty neat setup but I'd have to agree with the weight problem; there's gonna be a lot of forward weight...but yeah to each their own
