Rep and post count will come with time. Trust me. I'm a much more prolific poster on the UMS than here...only really getting into this forum hardcore in the last couple of months.

Ask questions (try to use search first ) if you need help, and don't forget to post pics when you've got your setup complete! Everyone here will help if they can, and share opinions on what's worked for them.

I play some woodsball with co-workers and some people around the neigborhood. There is no auto fire or burst fire allowed in our current games. We play two body shots, one head shot is elimination and the paint doesn't have to break. Marker shots don't count.

Marker plans: A5a2, Palmer Stabilizer, Flatline barrel as well as a Lapco Bigshot, X-7 hopper, squishy paddles, remote line, and possibly a double trigger.
welcome! what stabilizer were you thinking? vest or pack? i tink you might want to get a vortex mod also. double triggers don't help too much because you wan't really walk the trrigger, but its personal prefrance. might i suggest HPA? good luck!

Re: New to A-5, saying hello

One thing about the double trigger is that it lessens your grasp on the firing grip. It becomes two-fingered + thumb, as opposed to three-fingered + thumb. I've found that this was enough of a difference for me, at least, to switch back to a single trigger. It seems trivial, but it's something one doesn't think about until one's played a few games like that.

Welcome to the forum! If you find that your particular phrasing isn't coming up on Search, or you're not getting the exact answer you need from older posts, drop us a friendly, patient line. No one here will bite your head off!

I think.

Still debating on the stabilizer.. not sure if I want an in line or marker mounted.. As far as vest or pack.. I think I'm going to go with a 4+1 woodland camo pack for now. Vortex is going to have to wait for money, and as far as HPA.. we have a 100 pound CO2 bottle with fill station at the place where we play.. we just toss in like $10-20 a year to use it.

Thanks for all the post guys.. I appreciate the warm welcome.
