Is there anything on the market that goes to a higher resolution?

Re: Action Cam on your A5

With more and more people on here getting/having these setups, maybe we need to start a new thread/area to post up action cam videos/snap shots.

Re: Action Cam on your A5

The more and more I watch the ATC3k and 2k videos, the less I like their video quality. Its more money but I think I may end up going with something like the VIO POV.1 or Xtreme Recall systems.

Re: Action Cam on your A5

There's a bunch of Sony CCD cameras out there with really nice res, but you gotta carry a recorder and be 'wired up'

I liked the Action Cam coz it's only $100 and it's self contained.

$100 was my budget for a recording device.

Re: Action Cam on your A5

I recieved my ATC3K and have installed it on my Flex 8 mask. It's actually really neat, we had a few quick games yesterday to try it out. Everything is pretty good about it. However the video quality doesn't seem even as good as the demo's I've seen on Youtube and other places. I have read that the quality of SD card has a direct impact on the quality of video that the camera puts out. Does anybody have experience with this and does it hold any water?

Wow, you're not kidding. VIO is $700 for a complete system, and the XR low-profile is almost $500 plus the cost of a pvr or camcorder.
