What program would be the easiest/cheapest to use to compress the video for internet? I have the ATC3K Action Cam

you should've gone home, got your A5, went to his house and asked for a rematch.

Re: Action Cam on your A5

I was looking for helmetcams a while back and If I am getting one it would be this baby here.
Or one of them at least, has everything for 630$ good quality camera (check out their videos) has the DVR and the nice crushproof mount. That cam is what Tiger from webdog radio uses. He talks about a bunch of them here (first video).

I have a lapco offset sight mount and I think I'd try to mount it on the side weaver and run the cable on my stock and have the recorder in a pouch on my back...

P.S. Tiger has a bunch of really good footage on his site and some good tips/tricks check it out here.

Re: Action Cam on your A5

I would definitely suggest that you mount it on your mask. you get the FPS point of view, looks like your on the game when you review it.

Re: Action Cam on your A5

Here are some shots of my ATC3K mounted on my Spectra Flex 8. The Spectras are perfect for mounting this camera as the vent holes in the top of the goggle line up perfectly with the supplied helmet mount, you just run a zip tie through each side into a vent hole out another and repeat on the opposite side of the mount. Sorry for the poor quality, these were taken with my Cell Phone.

It kinda sticks out far from a profile shot. I call it my "Forehead Phallus." However it makes for very good shots...definitely get that FPS view.

As you can see in the next shot, when I'm looking at someone, it really doesn't add much to my silhouette. It really is a good setup if you happen to have a JT Spectra. You have to sacrafice your visor which is inconvenient in the rain.

Re: Action Cam on your A5

Can anybody help me with electronics on PM. I have a project in mind involving a 19 mm camera and a 1.5 LCD screen. I wanna be able to have a good idea of what I'm doing before I do it. I won't be bothering with sound I only need visual.

Re: Action Cam on your A5

I had an older Oregon Sci and it wasnt all that great. I had it on my UMPA5 on the side mounted like a tac light, so it looked cool, but the footage wasn't too swift and it didn't have sound. Looks like they've come a long ways in 2 years. I think the cam stuff is great, love seeing coverage of some woods/scenario play.

Re: Action Cam on your A5

The systems which has worked great with me is made by Adrenaline Systems.
It comes with everything for mounting on the Gun and Head:

GUN CAM PRO- TACTICAL RIFLE 580 VARIFOCAL SONY CAMERA ASSAULT HELMET CAM AdrenalineCamera.com

I also got their Handheld DVR which is super light and am able to take great stuff on SD Card. This is the DVR 200:

You can now get a combo kit so do you research. They seem to always have great sales.
