Inkblue... A bullet camera needs its own battery pack and then it runs to a camcorder or similar recording device...

In the picture below, you can see the pouch on my hip that contains the camcorder, battery pack and my external mic is clipped to it. I run the wired down my shirt to keep them from getting snagged.

Id prefer a mini projector on the inside of my mask.

Thad be awesome if they had projectors the size of an LED light.

Re: Action Cam on your A5

72Chevelle... I'm using the 420line camera by Xtreme Recall and the recording device I am currently using is providing crappy quality. I am banking a few pennies for a better camcorder. But hooked into my AV jacks on my TV it is very comparable, if not identical, to the two stills by Winterkill above in post #30.

FWIW - I'm using the datatoys.com DT-CAME580 paired with an old Sony TRV310 Digital8 camcorder carried in a "hydration pack" (sans the bladder)

Re: Action Cam on your A5

Here is how I mounted mine on my Grill (used zip-ties):

Works great. What I did is remove the rubber gasket that makes the mic water-proof and replace it with a piece of felt. The sound improves a great deal with the rubber gasket removed. If the mic does take a hit, just remove the felt and replace it. Use a thick felt so that there are no worries.

I got mine for about $70 BNIB on eBay.

Re: Action Cam on your A5

so, do those things auto focus pretty fast? or do you get frustrated allot because your shot are all fuzzy. Since your eye is not behind the camera, the lens might focus on something farther off to the right than what you want.
